getAction

public static com.opensymphony.xwork.Action getAction()

Deprecated.

Returns the current XWork action. If you're using the WW taglibs then you won't need this method since that's handled implicitly. This method is useful if you need direct access to the action object for a particular view:

MyAction action = (MyAction)ActionUtils.getAction();

Returns:

the action for the current view or null if the action was not found (that might happen if the action was never executed perhaps because the JSP page was called directly).

getActionMessages

public static java.util.Collection getActionMessages()

Deprecated.

Returns xwork action messages provided by the current action if there is any.

Returns:

xwork action messages provided by the current action if there is any.
