Group, space and global reports are available with Community Manager Reports
(CMR).
Administrators with the "Manage System" set of System Administrator
permissions are able to configure who can see reports.
The following list describes the different reports and how you can provide access to them.
Take a look at table of permissions to see how you can set permission levels.
- Global Reports:
- Global reports show data for the entire community. The following users can view global
reports:
- Administrative users granted "Manage System" set of permissions.
- Community users granted global CMR (default space) permissions.
To assign the global CMR permission, set a user override in the Default Space
Permissions page of the Admin Console. For more on this, see Set
Permissions to View Global Reports.
- Social Group Reports:
- Each social group has a Reports tab where you can find reports for that group. The
following users can view group reports:
- Administrative users granted "Manage System" set of permissions.
- Group administrators or owners.
- Community users granted global CMR (default space) permissions.
Users granted global CMR permissions can only see reports for social groups they can
access. For example, they can see reports for secret groups only if they belong to
them.
- Space Reports:
- Each space has a Reports tab where you can find reports for that group. The following
users can view reports for a space:
- Administrative users granted "Manage System" set of permissions.
- Space adminstrators or owners.
- Community users granted global CMR (default space) permissions.
- Community users granted specific space permissions.
You can assign specific space permissions by setting a user override in the specific
space's permissions page in the Admin Console. For more on this, see Set
Permissions to View Reports for Spaces.
