System Requirements

You need to have Microsoft Office Communicator or Lync installed in your network to use Jive for OCS/Lync.

Software Prerequisites

Jive 6.0.0 or higher.
Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 or higher, or Microsoft Office Lync 2010 or higher, on Windows
CWA Server 2007 R2

Jive for OCS/Lync doesn't connect to your chat server directly: it connects to your Communicator Web Access (CWA) server. To use Jive for OCS/Lync, your CWA must be configured in external mode and use forms authentication.
