The following describes requirements for the system where the video plugin is installed.

Software
The built-in Flash player requires Flash 9.0.115.0 or better.
Network
- Videos are streamed at data transfer rate of 500 kbps. If available bandwidth is
less than the minimum amount required, videos buffer and users see a buffering
indicator in the player. If you don't want users to see the buffering indicator,
make sure 500 kbps is the minimum bandwidth available on the network.
- Videos are streamed using Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP), which runs on port 1935. If port 1935 is unavailable,
video uses Real Time Messaging Protocol Tunnel (RTMPT), which runs on port 80. Make sure these ports are available for the application to use.

- Web cam support is only available on RTMP, and not using RTMPT.
- The video player and service need to communicate with Jive for the video upload and secure video playback
processes. To enable these processes, open your firewall for the IP address and
ports for your location. For more on this, see Setting up
