How do I keep track of content I like?
When you want to keep your eye on particular content, you can use bookmarks, feeds (such
as RSS) and email notifications.
- By bookmarking content
(both inside and outside the community), you can get back to it quickly later. You
can even make the bookmark visible to other people so that they can find it and know
what you're keeping your eye on. With notes on your bookmarks, you can describe why
you like (or don't like!) the bookmarked item.
- Feeds (such as RSS)
give you a way to see information about content changes and additions all in one
place. To view the list of changes you use what's called a "feed aggregator," or "feed reader." By subscribing to
feeds and using a reader you can view updates about content changes and
additions through a single tool.
- With email
notifications, Jive SBS sends you an
email each time content you're interested in (that is, for which you've requested
email notification) is changed or added. Requesting email notification is a way to
get updates about content changes and additions in a more immediate way.
