Finding people, places, and content

Use the Find tab to quickly locate the things you need across both iOS and Android platforms.

General Search Procedures​

To find something:

  1. Mobile App (iOS):

    • Tap Find in the left sidebar or Search in the top right corner.

    Mobile App (Android):

    • Tap the magnifying glass icon under Content, People, or Places.

  2. Enter your search terms, such as Human Resources or April Sales Report. The results will be returned as tiles (iOS) or as a list (Android) sorted by Content, People, and Places.

  3. For both platforms:

    • You can further filter the results:
      • iOS: Tap Filters or Filters, then specify additional conditions. The available filters differ for content items, people, and places.
      • Android: Swipe from left to right, then tap Content, People, or Places, followed by the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner. In the search box, use type-ahead search to return results below.

  4. Identify your targeted item from the list of search results and tap on it to view.

Recently Viewed Items​

Mobile App (iOS):​

  1. Tap your avatar image in the left sidebar and then the triangle in the title bar.
  2. Select Recent Content. In landscape mode, you can toggle between People and Places you've recently visited in the right sidebar.

Mobile App (Android):​

  1. Tap the magnifying glass in the top right corner (but don't type anything in the search box).
  2. You can tap the search headings to filter the listings and tap any item to go directly to it.
Tip

On an iPad, using Recent Content is a quick way to find items you access often.
