Using Jive Copilot
Jive Copilot is easy to use. This page gives you some tips on how to get the best responses from Copilot.
Note: Copilot features can be enabled or disabled individually by your administrator, so you might not have access to all features listed.
Answering Questions
Jive Copilot can search various forms of content in order to answer questions:
- About your organization using content stored in your Jive instance.
- About Jive itself and how to use Jive.
This works best when you ask a direct, specific question. Copilot works by extracting search terms and other parameters from your question and finding an answer based on the generated search results. Therefore, if you know the name of the thing you are interested in, or context-specific terms, then you should mention them to get good results.
Discussing Content
After you have asked an initial question to Jive Copilot, you can continue the conversation.
It understands the context of the conversation, so when you ask a follow-up question, you don't need to repeat what is already known in the conversation.
To start a new conversation with a fresh context, you can click the "New Conversation" button.
Summarizing Documents and Attachments
Jive Copilot can also summarize any page in Jive, including any PDF attachments.
