Content Creation

You can use the Content Creation graph to track how much content is being created over time. You can view daily or monthly content creation by type, depending on the period you select. When content is published, it increases the count of content created. Conversely, when content is deleted, it decreases the count.

This graph provides a breakdown of content creation by type, including: documents, blog posts, discussions, polls, ideas (if enabled), events, questions, and videos (if enabled). The total content count includes contributions from both external contributors and standard-access users.

Tip
  • You can hover over the lines in the graph to see actual content item counts for a specific day or month.
  • Click on a month or day to toggle between day or month view.
  • The Total Content box indicates the count of all content types published yesterday or at the end of the selected date range.
  • The number in the upper left corner shows the total count for all content types published in the selected period.
  • Total content includes content created by external contributors. To narrow the report down to specific user types, select Add Filter > User Type and choose the desired user type.
  • The Content Creation graph does not include draft content until the day it's published.
