Engagement Dashboard

When enabled, you can view the latest analytics for your community to see how members are engaging with each other in the community. It looks at data over time, so you can see what happens during significant events, or even during campaigns targeted at increasing engagement.

Fastpath

Your avatar > Community Analytics, then select Engagement Dashboard

To access this dashboard:

  • Click Your Avatar > Community Analytics and select Engagement Dashboard in the upper left corner of the page.

  • Department Interactions The Department Interactions chart analyzes collaboration trends around how different departments engage with each other. This chart details interaction dynamics for the entire community.

  • Engagement Index You can use the Engagement Index chart to review community engagement and user activity and watch how the community engagement changes over time.

  • Daily/Monthly Active Users The Daily/Monthly Active Users chart measures community interest by providing a percentage of how many monthly active users are engaged daily.

  • Participation Ladder for active users The Participation Ladder chart shows the breakdown of active users by the following user types: consumer, participant, and contributor.

  • Engagement Index by User Type The Engagement Index by User chart measures how engaged different user types are in the community.

  • Engagement Ladder The Engagement Ladder chart answers the question, "When members engage, what are they doing?" You can use this chart to analyze member behavior and community engagement for a given period.

  • Profile Completion The Profile Completion graph shows the percentage of users who completed certain fields in their profile. This report is only available in the community-level reports.

  • User Leaderboard The User Leaderboard chart lists the top 10 contributors with the highest activity points within the date range you select for the dashboard.

  • Activity Leaderboard This chart lists top users who performed particular actions within the community.

  • Top Successful Search Queries The Top Successful Search Queries report shows the top search terms used to find content, people, or places and how many times these terms were used. Success is based on users actually clicking a result in the spotlight or main search.
